A proposed Settlement has been reached in a lawsuit entitled Reese, et al. v. Teen Challenge Training Center, Inc., d/b/a Pennsylvania Adult & Teen Challenge, No. 210400093, pending in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. The lawsuit alleges that on or about between July 27, 2020 and July 30, 2020, Teen Challenge Training Center, Inc. (“Teen Challenge”) was the victim of a cyberattack resulting in the disclosure of personal information and protected health information, including full names, Social Security Numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, payment card information, dates of birth, prescription information, diagnosis information, treatment information, treatment providers, health insurance information, medical information, Medicare/Medicaid ID numbers, employer identification numbers, electronic signatures,
and usernames and passwords (the “Data Breach”). Teen Challenge maintains that it has meritorious defenses, and it was prepared to vigorously defend the lawsuit. The Settlement is not an admission of wrongdoing or an indication that Teen Challenge has violated any laws, but rather the resolution of disputed claims. Teen Challenge encourages all persons who qualify as members of the Settlement Class to participate in the Settlement.
Teen Challenge’s records indicate you are included in the Settlement as a Settlement Class Member because your information may have been involved in the Data Breach.
